A lovely place in the middle of nowhere. I mean if you’re not by the boat — you won’t be there. Splendid view of the water from the terrace, no fancy houses, no mansions, just wild green tropical nature with lots of trees and lonely boats cruising from time to time. I asked to add tomatoes and cheese in to the simple shrimp omelet that I ordered. They willingly did that with no extra charge and it was much better and delicious than if just plain omelet with shrimps only. Canelones a la Rossini were very rich as well as the fish — Pacu. It’s a local fresh water fish, related to a piranha, and with a taste of a carp, but almost no bones and more delicate. The fish was served with grilled pumpkin and squash. For dessert we took apple pancakes al rum with dulce de leche ice-cream on top. Instead of one portion to share the waiter brought too, misunderstanding. There was too much of rum for me. Good wine selection, though the prices are pretty high. But when you’re in the middle of nowhere and it’s all water around — you don’t have of much choice. Or order beer may me?! They have a beautiful garden behind the restaurant itself, where you can have a nice walk or sit resting and take a breath of fresh humid air. We were looking for a white cat as they promised us, they had one(the name of the place goes after a white cat), but we couldn’t find him. They told that he was resting somewhere in the garden. And a while ago there were three cats. But I have to take their word for it, because we didn’t see any.
