My review is purely based on my coffee experiences. Firstly, $ 4.80 for a medium cup of coffee is probably the most I have paid in Adelaide. Secondly, if you’re going to pay $ 4.80 for a cup of coffee I don’t expect it to be bitter. Errrr… it was. Really bad, as if the person making it had done a 30 minute ‘barista’ course in their lunch break. I drank about a quarter of it, threw it away, and grumped about it for about 15 minutes(before I walked down to Signature and got a great one — review to come later) :) So I gave them another chance, and I waited really long for my order. So long that I asked if my order had been lost… and the girl told me(more like snapped at me) that it was coming. There were maybe three people waiting for coffees, and I think I waited ten minutes sooooo… I think I had every right to ask! Grumpy girl gave me my coffee, no apology and not even a thank you, so I couldn’t really enjoy it. It’s basic customer service Cocolat. Basic. Very freakin’ important. This place has a lot of delicious looking(and pricey) chocolates, desserts and ice cream, so if I ever feel like spending my hard earned cash expanding my waistline even further, I might, that’s right ‘might’ consider trying one of the desserts. Maybe. Coffee? I’ll pass. 2 stars and 0 apologies

Been here a few times, usually the first stop for some brunch waffles which are always delicious. One staff member in particular here is just great, she made me a drink from scratch that wasn’t on the menu because I felt like something in particular and was super kind and friendly about it, it was clearly no problem which was great. One of the better places to go if you’re looking for food or coffee during a day of shopping in Rundle Mall. The waffles and pancakes are always nice and are average price for what you get but are good for something different in the busy food court.

Since I’m no longer a city-worker, I was excited to visit and order a soy latte from Cocolat! Although it didn’t look busy, it did take a long time to get our coffee(??), but it was delicious after all that. I have given them an extra star though for the fact that they have a couple of ‘raw’ cakes on their menu(not sure where from, but they look like the Raw Karma cakes???) — that is highly impressive! Good to see cafes stocking other options.
