Fleming Deraly

This is the second time I’ve visited Deraly to get my eyebrows tattooed. Yes, you read that right — I get my eyebrows tattooed. Believe me, drawing eyebrows on every day takes too much of my valuable time ;)
When I first came to see Deraly, about 4 years ago, she was on Melbourne Street, North Adelaide. This new place is gorgeous — a lovely restored old house/​mansion on King William Road.
Deraly has been doing ‘permanent’ make-​up for many many years, and her technique is amazing. I previously visited another well-​known salon who used the ‘soft-​tap’ method, and that is horrible (lots of bleeding!!) — Deraly doesn’t use this — she uses an actual tattoo gun, which is much more precise, and there is less healing time.
Permanent make-​up (which really should be called ‘semi-​permanent make-​up’) lasts a couple of years, and fades as time goes by. Mine done 4 years ago were still there, but very very faded. It’s better to get them touched up every year (for a reduced rate).
Deraly’s work is brilliant — even though I don’t have natural-​looking eyebrows, she did exactly what I asked for, and did a very neat job! With her method I’ve had hardly any swelling, and can go back after 4 – 6 weeks for a touch-​up if needed.
