Small, hidden, almost one of those ‘the local’s know it’ places. I actually tried to find it once before, but whether I read the address wrong, or got caffeine impatience, I ended up not going as far as I should’ve when I did with another friend and we got our time in H&TD. I truly love the open atmosphere, the mirrored internal windows, the small nook of space being occupied by tall tables and stools. It was warm inside when it was chilly cold inside. I got to indulge in a delicious chorizo soup with a huge piece of bread. It was so tasty! The oil from the sausage flavoured the soup so nicely, oh I want another bowl of that soup now! Surprisingly, I didn’t get a coffee, but to be sure, I am planning to go back very soon to revisit and to have a sample of their tasty coffee brews.

It’s a great looking ‘quaint’ café tucked in the back streets. The food looks good, and have heard complements. Coffee is good, but just not my kind of blend(found it too sweet)

What a cute little place! Just off Gawler Place, I really had to keep a look out for this one, as it blends into the surroundings. It’s gorgeously fitted out in a charming blend of warehouse and French provincial chic … sounds odd, but the mint distressed finishes seem to fit in ;) The name suggests a hipster vibe … but it doesn’t have one! I was greeted by both people at the counter as soon as I walked in, so felt very welcomed. I noticed the magical Bonsoy boxes(yay!), as well as a great range of pastries and other sweets. Lunch orders are taken further back at the kitchen area, and this seems to be an efficient use of space. Actually, the kitchen is disproportionately large in comparison to the seating area ?? Although I only ordered a soy latte takeaway, it was absolutely delicious, and I am already planning a return trip to sample one of those giant macarons! I get the feeling this place is going to get very busy indeed once people start realising it’s here ;)
