I’m no skateboarding pro, but one time my housemate drove me out here for a muck around, claiming that this is one of the best skateparks in Adelaide. It certainly does look more slick than the average Adelaide skatepark. Accordingly, national skating events are now held out here — it trumps the city parks now. I certainly had a good time, but I still don’t know what I’m doing. According the skateboard website .au’s park review section Osbourne has«mini, large extension/hip, there is also a large street course with some really fun aspects including banks, large stair set, euro, rails and ledges.» I can’t say I really know what that means. Anyway, if you’re into skateboarding, you almost certainly know more than me. If your kids are into skateboarding, they’ll probably end up wanting to go here at some point. I’ll probably stick to the nice, boring, easy park round the corner from my house.
