This is casual footwear for the investor. I tend to buy the cheap stuff so I can replace it if something should go wrong. Realistically, however, I don’t engage in a lot of spontaneous activity. Whenever I do things that might wear and tear at my shoes, it’s planned, and I’m usually wearing sneakers. So, really, I should shop at a place like this. And, with that proclamation, I plan to. Just not yet. I haven’t QUITE got the money to treat myself yet. Soon, though. I really do need the time to think about it, though. I wouldn’t know where to start. The selection is huge, and everything looks good. I often jeer fellows who talk about shoes. As Hemingway might say, ‘It’s not manly!’, but a good store makes you passionate about something you wouldn’t normally be passionate about. And Platypus has done that for me. I can’t quite believe it, but I’m kind of psyched for a shoe purchase. Weird.

Hmmm I have a thing for Platypus(not the furry, hybrid creature, the store filled with funky shoes). I cannot explain my love of designer sneakers, except I may have been a skate-boarding champ, or at least male, in a former life. Seriously, I’ve actually had to cut myself off from buying shoes from here, ones that I love to look at but hardly ever wear. But it makes me happy, so I still go in here to look at the latest designs and dream and imagine the styles I may create in the near future if I became a modern day cobbler. This is pure fantasy land and I accept it’s kind of weird, but there you have it. So for the cutest, coolest, casual-wear for your feet, now you know where it’s at. In a nutshell — I’m getting hot just thinking about it!
