Don’t let its name fool you — it isn’t a tavern, its a glorified gaming lounge that happens to sell beer, and even then it has some really odd times when it does just that. In fact if you are looking for a place to have a quiet beer this seriously isn’t a place I would recommend — at all. Sure, it does have some comfy chairs, but the noise of the pokie machines in the same room aren’t exactly conducive for a place where you can sit with your mates and talk. Even if you do happen to be into pokies, there are much better places where you can waste your money in that regard.

My local bottle shop. Friendly service. Decent range of takeaway liquor. Good prices considering it isn’t a bona fide bottle shop. The chick – I don’t know her name – who is always there is really friendly.
