This café is on busy risley street and it is super loud inside that I can’t even hear myself think. The coffee was burnt and tasted pretty average(we should have just gone to dome) — we also got a mini lemon meringue pie which was dry and old. Also gross. I hope they pick up some standards.

Pricey corner café located in Applecross. Gorgeous outdoor area which is perfect for a lunchtime catch up. Lots of menu options including fresh wraps and sandwiches on display. Prices are steep; looking at $ 18 for a wrap with a salad. Coffee was on point; couldn’t help but notice they do espresso martinis(so very tempting!) Nice little spot for a coffee or quick bite!

Last night my boyfriend and i came for dinner and despite my previous review stating prompt service, we were disappointed to be almost gnawing at the table legs after waiting almost 40minutes for our meals to come out. We both finished our drinks long before the food arrived, and were not given an apology whem it did finally come out. Understandable if the place was packed to the rafters, but it wasnt. Many people around us had ordered chips or dessert. None the less, the pasta dishes we ate were really tasteful. I’ll still come back here for the food :)

Only had coffee there, so can’t rate it on food, but the coffee was pleasant, as was the atmosphere. The staff seemed friendly, and when it was discovered that my order was slightly incorrect due to a bit of confusion– I ordered 2 drinks, but due to a miscommunication a 3rd was placed and brought out, they took the drink back and I received my money back, so top marks there. I’d go again.

Brunch at C15 was good but the venue and food didn’t really have that wow factor that other cafes in Perth have. Having said that the coffee was a stand out with my long macchiato being robust and creamy in flavour. Just what I needed on a Monday morning of a long weekend. The décor unfortunately reminds me of a refurbished Dome Café. It had a very stock standard interior which could have been replicated anywhere. The menu too, offered the usual breakfast fair. Three types of Benedict, bacon and eggs, Bircher muesli etc etc. It wasn’t a menu that flaunted its creativity. I ordered a breakfast bruschetta with poached eggs. The bruschetta was fresh with avocado, tomato and onion on a thick slab of toasted bread. The poached eggs were cooked reasonably well with one being a little too overcooked for my liking. The other diners at my table ordered the eggs Benedict and both had poached eggs that were hard. This is my biggest no no at breakfast time. So overall a pleasant enough breakfast. Would I recommend others to head here if they weren’t a local? Probably not. And I wouldn’t see myself heading back in any hurry either.

This one was a hard one to review. Don’t get me wrong, the location is great, Parking was easy to find and the café itself is beautiful — everything is open. The coffees are great and the blueberry and ricotta log is INCREDIBLE. The service is great and they have such nice, friendly and efficient staff. But the food. I’m not sure. Maybe it was just the chicken schnitzel burger I had. It was dry, had none of the anchovy sauce it promised, and it was boring and flavorless. There was also no cheese. What the hell. Who does a burger with no cheese? I definitely am not happy paying $ 19 for the burger which also comes with very oily, unsalty. I was almost tempted to leave my food completely and go to HJs instead. Which is pretty bad. I dunno. I’m conflicted between 3 and 4 stars. I have them 4 purely because everyone eels good looked so much nicer, saucier and they were served in epically huge plates. Better luck next time I guess.

For some reason, every time my friend and I meet up for coffee, we always end up at C15. We have been doing this for some years now. Whether it’s the great choice of hot beverages or the yummy sweets or amazing hot meals, I’m just not sure. C15 can be found on the corner of Riseley Street and Kearns Crescent in Applecross, so it isn’t a quiet location. Parking is rather easy to find, depending on what time of the day you arrive. It can be rather noisy inside, as all cafes and restaurants are, but we still keep visiting. It’s a pity C15 does not have a website where you can view their menu, but it doesn’t really matter, as once you walk in and take a look for yourself, you will no doubt find something you like, and it will taste great. There is a lovely cosy atmosphere inside, especially during the winter months where you can enjoy a hot beverage and warm yourself up.
