The Tasting Table Wine Shop is an independent wine shop and wine bar in Armadale, Melbourne, owned and run by Jack Mullard. We focus on European wines and Australian wines from family run vineyards, with an emphasis on having a diversity of styles and producers. We also have a great love for whisky, craft beers and traditional ciders, from Highland to Lowlands or British ale to home grown Australian craft brews. On the wine side of things you won’t find our offerings in Dan Murphy’s, instead we focus on bringing great wines with lesser known labels to the fore front, whether it’s a $ 15 bottle of Shiraz or a $ 200+ bottle of Grand Cru Burgundy. All the wines we stock are carefully selected and nothing goes on our shelves unless we’ve tasted it first.

The main difference between us and other stores, is that we want you come and try before you buy, using our 3 Enomatic Wine Dispensing Machines. We have a rotating list of 24 wines available to taste or by the glass from a list of over 2

History

Established in 2012.

Before moving to Australia owner Jack worked for esteemed UK wine merchant Corney and Barrow in London, whilst studying for his WSET Diploma in wine and spirits. His wine experience spans half a decade working not only as a private client sales manager but also as a sommelier in some of London’s most innovative wine establishments. Jack’s passion and knowledge for wine led him to set up The Tasting Table as a place where drinking and buying wine is a fun and engaging experience. Whether you’re a wine aficionado or just starting out the concept is simple; taste, drink and enjoy, if you like what you’ve tasted then buy a bottle. Come and join us in the wine buying revolution.
