The Crocodile Farm Hotel serves up gourmet pub food at affordable prices in a modern, spacious and vibrant atmosphere. The hotel features a public bar, which includes Keno, TAB facilities and plasma screens, a lounge bar, beer garden and al fresco dining. With faux crocodile skin couches, and the resident 12 ft crocodile, originating from the set of Crocodile Dundee, entombed in a viewing tank on the dance-​floor, The Croc is teeming with character and charm.

Established in 1996.

Located in the heart of the Ashfield Business District, the Crocodile Farm Hotel has grown from a local coffee shop to a highly successful Hotel since it was founded on October 26, 1996. With early intentions to transform this café from «coffee and cake to beer and steak», the owners set themselves the task of transforming the La Mamosa Café into the Crocodile Farm Hotel. Seven years later, upon purchasing the heritage building, the opportunity arose to build the pub from the ground up — all over again.

The redevelopment involved a complete overhaul, not only aesthetically, but with regards to services provided and products offered. Predevelopment, the Crocodile Farm Hotel offered six simple tap beers and three house wines (one red, one white, one sparkling). Now the hotel boasts ten tap beers, a fine wine list including vintage and dessert wines, and a notably extensive boutique bottled beer list.
