This place is okay, but I was hoping for more… The two items we ordered from the menu(Soft Shelled Crab and Wagyu Beef) were actually fantastic, and the sushi was pretty good, but not that fresh(which is really one of the main things one wants in sushi, isn’t it?). We sat at the sushi train, which is a concept that I like in theory. However, in this case, we were the only two people sitting at the sushi train and it was completely full of sushi when we arrived. Hence, no new sushi was being prepared and who knows how long it had been since it was prepared. You really need a critical mass of diners for the sushi train concept to work. Furthermore, their website says that all items on the sushi train are ½ off after 8:30(great!), BUT only for take-away(not mentioned on the website). So, if you’re sitting there in an empty restaurant, you can pay full price for something they’re about to throw away because they’re closing soon and no customers are coming — seems like a pretty stupid policy. So stupid, in fact, that I contemplated giving this place two stars, but like I said, the food was actually pretty good. This diner will probably never be returning, however.
