Planet Gallifrey is a retail store that is dedicated to all things Doctor Who! Not only do we sell Doctor Who actions figures we sell everything from aprons to pizza cutters. We currently also have 2 life size New Series Daleks on display in the store as well as the TARDIS herself!
History
Established in 2013.
Planet Gallifrey was founded by Doctor Who fanatic Haydn Pollard in 2013 as a sister company to the popular pop culture store Funky Turtle. The story of how it all came together is really quite funny but seldom spoken about due to the geekiness it contains.
I was actually standing inside my TARDIS that I have in the lounge room wondering if I could convert it to store some of my Doctor Who action figures and collectables. When suddenly it hit me, it was like a cloister bell tolling in my head. Well it was either the idea or the fact I was standing in there for a while and the air may have been getting thin, but none the less I had an idea! A pure dedicated Doctor Who store, both online and in a physical location here in Australia.
