I go there for dinner often, always get the same thing. I was there Monday and went to pay but the takeaway bowl was only half full. I asked the girl why it was so empty and the said that was the normal amount. I told her I have never seen it like that, it is always more than that. She changed her story and said not to worry it’s only because she had squished it all down. I looked at the bowl and thought, you have half a bowl left, there was absolutely no need to squish it down. Also, don’t squish down my dinner?! I shook the bowl and it was all lose… so the squishing story didn’t add up. I told her I wasn’t happy with the half empty bowl and that every other time it has been nearly to the top. She looked at me blankly and said«well you can complain online if you want». I paid(which I regret) then sent a complaint online. I am still waiting for a response. A total rip-off at $ 12 for half a bowl. A company more concerned with making a profit than sustaining customers with healthy meals?

Been mean to your body lately? Come here and get your entire vegetable quota for a week in one meal. Seriously, the salad and potatoes here are ridiculously huge. If it weren’t for the fact that they’re piled high with good healthy roughage I would be complaining about how grotesque the portion sizes are. My tip: eat half now and save some for later. And, if you’re really good and eat all your veggies, you can THEN have dessert.(That’s how it works, right?) Head over the road to Yo-chi to sort yourself out there.

So this place gets 3 stars for the food, and zero stars for the service. I have eaten at Feedmee countless times because their salads, soups and spuds are great. But the entire staff look like sad irish girls during the potato famine. They are the opposite end of the spectrum to the virgin airways ethos of a smile and hello. There have been times where there are 5 girls cleaning, re-stocking, packing up(whatever), and only 1 serving, so I end up waiting way too long to order. They also don’t clear the tables, so I’m often having to remove other peoples mess to make room for myself. From what I can see, the miserable attitude comes from the top down — just sayin. So — great food, but need to work a lot on the service.

As previously mentioned, FeedMe is a great healthy«faster» food option. Though, if you order the baked potato with extra sour cream and cheese, youre not really doing your waistline any favours. Modelled loosely on huge salad bars in the states, you can either choose from a pre-set salad, or assemble it according to your choice. All the topping options are on display for you to pick and choose, and the servings are enormous. One of their build your own salads could EASILY feed two people, and act as a side salad for 3 – 4 people. It must be said, the options are very basic, and I would imagine that having some more gourmet choices would completely revamp the concept. Instead of thawed peas, why not offer tortilla strips? Many of the options are a little more reminiscent of a camp buffet than a high-end salad bar. Still, a good option for a healthy choice.

Perfect for a quick and healthy feed that’s fresh and yummy! There are lots of good vegetarian and vegan options where they look after those who are gluten free as well. Very important in our continually picky society! You can grab a really appetizing spud or salad where you can create your own or pick from a number of tasty items on the menu. It’s quick, healthy and the people are nice so if your in a rush and don’t want Macca’s then it’s a great place for a fast feed!

So simple. But then again aren’t all of the best things in life. As your local food advisor, I recommend for a healthy diet that you eat either lunch or dinner here every day. You will notice the effects of satisfaction instantly.
