I like coming here for the delicious noodles and the very friendly service from the couple that runs this noodle bar. It may not look like much and the decorations are rather sparse but there is a certain modest charm about this little noodle store that I love. I have never eaten in; I generally get the takeaway and head home. I love the noodles and find these to be made well with a lot of vegetables and sauce. I’m also impressed by the serving sizes. The couple that run Global Noodle are lovely and are always kind and quick to take your order. Either phone ahead, or be prepared for a wait in summer though because Global Noodle can get busy on a hot summer night. The only down side was the spring rolls I got there once, they tasted as though they had been frozen and out of a packet and quickly fried. This was the only issue I have ever had at Global Noodle.

A good place to get take-away noodles. You can eat inside but it’s not like it has a great atmosphere for that so I generally prefer to grab it and go. The Styrofoam containers are a little cumbersome but of course that’s not an issue once you get home. The fried rice is one of my favourites on their menu. I know it’s a little boring, but they do it really well and I love a classic done properly. Bean shoots all the way, and the right proportion of everything. Yum. The Mongolian noodles are next in line; I love that sauce and the kick of the chilli. It’s a good local place for a great mix of cuisines, and they do it well.
