I needed a soup noodle dish to keep me warm and I found it here. Small restaurant that offers Fresh, simple and tasty food.

It could be what we order, but Sip & Chat seems to offer some of the most freshest tasting Vietnamese around Balwyn/​Boroondara, if not beyond.
The cold pork rice-​paper rolls are crisp and palate cleansing in the best possible way, even if you do follow that up with some messy delicious chicken ribs instead of a nice healthy shredded chicken salad. (No judging)
Be wrong not to mention the Phở, which is always a take-​away go-​to on chilly afternoons or if we have the sniffles, and while the place itself is fairly lacking in atmos it’s as nicely informal as the name suggests, and worth eating in for the free Oolong table-​tea if you ask me.
A Saturday afternoon favorite more than a night out sort of place, but if you do eat in note that a new bottle shop has just opened two doors down which comes in handy!
