As a charity shop, this one is pretty good. When I moved recently I had a lot of stuff, I was downsizing so it all went to the charity shop.
One thing I learnt was they don’t accept anything electrical in case it blows up and they sued. They also don’t take mattresses and the like but they do take clothing, cutlery, books (this store has thousands), paintings and general household goods.
It’s a great place to look for things if you’re doing photo shoots, especially for food. They have old kitchen utensils.
The clothing is on racks and is kept in good condition. There is a large amount to go through however.
There’s parking in front of and behind the shop. They get new stock in all the time. But if you take things, they won’t come out and help you bring it in — which I thought was a bit strange as there were a fair number of staff and I had seven boxes.
