This bookstore continues to pleasantly surprise me! A perfect example of this — today I received a 10% discount simply for having a local youth discount card. Awesome!
It’s well stocked, often I stumble across books here that I haven’t seen in much larger bookstores. I was impressed with the range of Lonely Planet travel books as an example. Furthermore, the staff are extremely knowledgeable about books. Almost every time I’m in here I overhear the staff having detailed conversations with customers about particular authors or novels. Today I found out that Beaumaris Books runs specials events for newly released books. These events are typically hosted at Malt café across the road (there’s loads of information on Beaumaris Books’ website or you can join their email list).
If you’re in the area, Beaumaris Books is well worth a look!
