Things I love about Bellisa: 1. Comfy bench seats and glossy magazines 2. Friendly staff 3. Good coffee 4. Good selection of sweet treats, snacks and light lunches. Bellisa is a short drive from home and has become one of my regular go-to spots for a coffee and quick bite. I haven’t eaten breakfast here but have had lunches, snacks and sweet treats in the afternoon when the sugar craving hits. Lunch a few weeks ago was a $ 12 pumpkin and ricotta lasagne which tasted as fresh and beautiful as it looked. There’s a range of muffins and cakes which are made in house, and whilst some of them may not look like the 5 star creations you get from some patisseries, I’ve been impressed with what I’ve tried. These photos are a compilation of a few different things I’ve had here. The banana and walnut bread is delicious, and I loved the mini apple pie which really was just like my mum used to bake! Did I mention the chocolate walnut brownie? Decadently moist and a generous piece too. I love having a friendly café serving good coffee that’s close to home, and it’s one of only a handful of places in Morley/Bedford where you can enjoy a modern café atmosphere.
