I came here with my polish mother and Babcia and Australian Father, not excepting much as how can this food compete with what we grew up with. Well I was blown away, extremely yummy very traditional well worth a visit!!!

I felt like I stepped into Poland on this warm Sunday winters day. The Polish Club Cracovia provides a special place for those who have never seen Poland and know very little about their heritage or parents’ country of origin. Essentially it is a soccer club but has a restaurant, bar and a function room that you can hire. When we got in there was a soccer game on and was really nice to sit on the grass and watch. A group of us came here for lunch and we all loved it and vowed to return to try their other dishes. Cracovia serves traditional and delicious polish dishes, offers a variety of polish beers and spirits and are all at reasonable prices. I love trying new food and Polish was exquisite so tasty and very big meals. Me and my sister shared our meals as we wanted to try as much as we could whilst we were there. Entrée — We chose the Pierogi(Traditional polish pan-fried dumplings) with a variety of fillings Beef, Mushroom and sauerkraut, Cheese and potatoes — these were delicious and melted in your mouth. We also shared the Borch(Clear beetroot broth served in a cup) this was tasty and easy to drink. Main — For main we chose the Cabbage Rolls(cabbage leafs stuffed with minced meats, rice and vegetables, served with mushroom or tomato sauce) — we asked for tomato but we got mushroom sauce with it, it was nice and good to have the sauce with it as would have been a bit dry without it. We also got the Pork hock/Golonka served with potatoes, sauerkraut, horse radish and mustard this one was massive and delicious! We shared half each and was very full by the end of it! Would get this again. The Menu had a lot more food which we want to go back to try. Menu — Overall, this place was great and very traditional(Polish people were in there enjoying a meal) and we are going to be returning to have another Polish adventure soon.

I came here with a large group of girlfriends for a birthday dinner. She is polish and suggested we try this place. I was a bit out of my comfort zone heading to DUNDUNDUNNN …The outer suburbs. The restaurant was out the back of a sports club and as soon as we parked up my alarm bells were ringing. Where are we?! why are we at a football club?! what is happening?! what is beechboro?! Entering the bar/restaurant I was pleasantly surprised, there were a few people milling around and we had a nice big table set up. We ordered quickly as after that drive we were all hungry! We tried most of the dishes on the menu with my highlight being the Pork Hock served with sauerkraut and potatoes. YUM it was delicious! The food & drink prices were very cheap and massive servings! The staff were completely awkward but a lot of them didn’t speak very good English so I think that was the main barrier. I think this place would greatly benefit from playing some traditional polish music or having some entertainment on the weekends.

A bunch of us went to the club for dinner(only Friday, Saturday an Sunday nights and bookings are required). We are loved it! We had a few polish dinners in or group which added to the ambience of the meal. The drinks we reasonably priced with a 5.6% 500mL polish beer for $ 7.50. Between myself and a friend we split the pierogi(mushroom and sauerkraut, potato and cheese), cabbage rolls, Hungarian goulash, beetroot soup and croquette. All we absolutely delicious. Not in a fancy food kind of way in a homestyle, carb, fatty Eastern European kind of way. I loved how they haven’t made it the slightest bit healthy(as trends are at the moment). Only things which could make it better was maybe the food arriving as entrees and mains separately. Also polish music would have been a good addiction.

Cracovia Club is the venue where my Zumba classes are held. The floors can get sticky at times due to the functions they had over the weekend & they haven’t cleaned it up properly for us to use on Monday Zumba class. After numerous attempts to make them clean up the polished wooden floors, they did but still not 100%. As Zumba is a cardio dance workout, we are quite prone to injuries of the floors are sticky r worse of all oily. The venue is very pretty & they did a good job in décor esp during functions, Christmas or New Year parties(as seen on pic). If you need to book a function room in beechoro, this is the place to go & it can hold a couple of hundred people as i was told few weekends ago, they had 500. Don’t ask but i reckon they would be stick thin or packed like sardines :) There’s a huge soccer field & Ample parking out in front.
