My boyfriend and I went here twice during our visit to Sydney. The first time I got their iced coffee which comes poured over ice cream. It was delicious. We also got sandwiches from their counter. The prices were fare and the service was fantastic. Everyone there is very friendly and clearly has a passion for the coffee they serve. The cold drip coffee we had our during our second trip was also very good. Just a plain cold brew coffee; it had good, full flavor without being too bitter or acidic.

It seems that the new ‘little hipster cafes’ are opening up everywhere. And their newest target is Bexley North. However, this place is worth a visit if you are in the area. Serving Little Marionette beans, the coffee here is one of the better places down south. Probably not as great as Machinna Espresso — it is still quite good. The food here is quite good — from salads to breakfast. They also have baked goods and ready made sandwiches if you need the quick bite and don’t want to wait. Also there is very little seating, so you might have to get takeaway. But this is not a problem, as there is a park on the other side of the road, so you can always have your coffee and food there. The staff here are really cool. I know one person said that they were rude, however, all I experienced was niceness. My friend brought his child, and one of the workers brought us out crayons and paper — without us asking for it. Saying that they do get busy, so you might have to wait a bit, but that is what is expected from smaller cafes.

I’m a little torn — the service here is just odd. It’s a mixture of the disinterest and disdain that you would usually only get in Surry hills from sort-of 25 year old uni students who think wearing big glasses makes them interesting. But despite the wretched attitudes of some(not all) of the staff, the food and coffee are on point. It’s cosy, a little squashy actually, and the clientele are all over the place — but the atmosphere isn’t awful. Maybe I caught the staff on a series of non consecutive bad days. Maybe they’re rehearsing for the role of Cruella De’ville in this year’s stage adaptation of 101 Dalmatians or Maybe I’m the c$&t. Either way — review done.

Big enough to have a wide selection of items on offer, small enough to make you feel special every time you walk through the door. Coffee is great, little marionette

Finally what this area has been crying out for, a quaint, quirky café which delivers an awesome coffee as well as a small, yet satisfying café menu. The owners are hands on in this joint and the results speak for themselves, friendly service from guys who really care about coffee.
