I came in the other day to buy some gifts and the staff were so lovely and eager to help. The lady that served me spent ages talking to me and was very knowledgeable about the products, their ingredients and the benefits of using them. She was more than happy to explain what was best for my skin and even gave me free samples of products to try so I can come back in if I like them. They have a large range of products made from natural ingredients, a variety of their popular bath bombs, scrubs, body washes and face masks. I find it’s best to let the staff show you the products to best understand what’s what and what’s best for you. Overall a very pleasant experience with friendly but not pushy service, I will definately be back.

Lush, for me, is a very creative gimmick to the products we use every day. I haven’t done enough research into the company to see if there products truly are«all natural», but if you Google the question, you get a several responses that lean to «no». In that regard, I hate false advertising whether it is assumed or implied. Now, with that said, I am sure there is far-worse out there. For example, they have a block that looks like mud and with continual-use can dye your hair. I assume this would be far-better to use than a box hair-dye set. Again, I’m assuming here. I am sure to everything there is something better and something worse. But, my goal is to always aim for the best. I do use their muscle rub(it smells like cinnamon and has coffee beans on it) and I’m on my 3rd bar. I find Lush to be so outrageously priced(for quantity) that it is strictly a «splurge» and not a daily product I get to use. I’m sure I could find something comparable on , if I didn’t mind waiting on postal time. The moment Dr. Bronners peppermint soap hits this island, I’m a Lush goner.

At first I thought that I wasn’t getting Lush as I was the wrong gender. I asked a few female friends, and they weren’t really sure what the fuss was about either, so maybe it’s not just gender. Lush do a whole lot of cosmetics that smell, well interesting. There are soaps, and shampoos and other things that I don’t really understand. Don’t get me wrong I have a few products from the Body Shop and I don’t mind them. I am not against soap or beauty products. I just don’t like the stuff here. It is all too overpowering and smelly or too over the top in general. You have to give the staff full points for their enthusiasm. As soon as you look at a product for more than a few seconds they are next to you explaining what it does and what makes it so wonderful.

Thinking of treating your skin to some organic and scented goodness? If so be sure to visit the heavenly Lush store, at first I thought it was just another shop that sold pretty scented soaps, how wrong I was! They sell beautiful handmade organic cosmetics and beauty products like massage bars, shampoo bars, face masks, and much more. Another thing that I loved was that the staff were actually interested and excited to explain how all the products work, for instance I picked up what looked like a soap to me but was actually body butter and the lady whipped it twice in on her palm then rubbed her hands together et voila it made a body butter. Lush is quirky and innovative and the store is so marvellously merchandised you may be tempted to buy everything because it looks and smells so divine. Perfect to spoil yourself or a loved one with an interesting and decadent body product.
