Peaches ‘n’ Gin Burlesque is Adelaide’s premier burlesque company, specializing in producing high quality burlesque shows, performance for private events and parties and teaching the art of burlesque through their Academy.
History
Established in 2009.
Peaches ‘n’ Gin Burlesque was founded in 2009 by Luna Eclipse & Sapphire Snow. Experienced in swing dancing, vintage jazz, and theatre, they quickly gained a reputation as the leading burlesque performers in SA. In 2010 they opened their burlesque academy, where they now teach the art of burlesque to women from all walks of life. Many of their students have gone on to perform burlesque regularly.
In 2012 Peaches ‘n’ Gin founded ‘Club Burlesk’ — a monthly burlesque show with a different lineup each month. In addition to this they have produced many sold out events starring national stars, including 3 sell out Adelaide Fringe seasons, and have also produced the acclaimed show ‘Big Band Burlesque’.
As well as producing and teaching, both Sapphire & Luna have travelled nationally and internationally to perform at events such as The Australian Burlesque Festival and The New York Burlesque Festival. They are both competitive title holders — Miss Burlesque SA 2011 (Sapphire) and 2013 (Luna).
