A wide range of goods are offered in our weekly auctions, including furniture, white-goods, tools, bric-à-brac, decorator items, jewellery, art, antiques, collectables and even cars, trailers and bikes. General auctions are held on most Fridays and special Auctions are every six weeks on a Saturday.

Abbeys has been providing expert valuation and auction services to Melbourne for over 45 years.
Abbeys was the first auction house in Victoria to introduce weekly live online auctions allowing people hear the auction action live and bid from the comfort of their home or office. Our customers are now located widely across Victoria, other Australian states and overseas.
Abbeys Estate Services division was formed in 2013 in response to customer demand for an easier way to manage whole house clearances — including transportation, storage and sale of contents, plus cleaning, rubbish removal and other trades services.

Hugh is the owner and Managing Director at Abbeys will often be your first point of contact if you are looking to sell or manage your house contents.
He will work with you to develop the best solution for your needs, whether it be the valuation, transport or storage of contents, or arrangement of other services to prepare a property for sale. You will also usually see Hugh assisting buyers on Auction Day.
Hugh is passionate about delivering our customers the highest level of professional service. He believes that buying and selling at auction should be a fun and rewarding experience for everyone.
