If you are looking for an inexpensive way to help your child develop their physical and cognitive skills and possibly make some new friends then you should definitely consider gymnastics. After reading a number of articles on the benefits of gymnastics I decided to join my daughter up to our local club.
The Albany Creek Gymnastics Club is located in Brendale and is so much cheaper than some of the other extracurricular activities available for children these days. Some of my friends have their children in dancing classes where they pay in excess of $ 5,000 a year for tuition, costumes and assessments.
I pay only $ 11 a week for my daughter to attend a one hour class each Wednesday (plus a one off annual fee to cover insurance etc). Classes include aerobics, rope climbing, trampolining and many other fun activities that appeal to children of all ages and fitness levels.
Classes run in line with the school terms and if you like to try before you buy the first session is free.
