The Bridgewater Servo, also known as «Joe’s» and «Boschie’s» by affectionate locals is among the best of the truly independent service stations left in the hills.
One of the main selling points is Joe’s uncanny ability to ignore the ‘fuel discount cycle,’ somehow managing to be a good ten cents a litre cheaper when other petrol stations are at the peak of the cycle.
If you’re used to the glossy, fluorescent big name petrol stations, it may look a little drab, inside and out, but a business doesn’t stay this busy by accident. Maybe, with servos at least, looks really aren’t everything.
