Very much your average ‘chook shop’

I walked past this little chicken shop feeling like a bite to eat. It looked good and I thought I would be in for a good little snack.
I requested a minimum chips, handed over my money and waited…
I was very disappointed with the service. Both the guys behind the counter barely said a thing to me, and I felt like a bit of an inconvenience. Plus, I felt like I was waiting a fair amount of time. The young guy put the chips in the fryer and then disappeared.
He eventually came back, handed me the chips wordlessly and out I went. I walked to the car, opened the paper to find burnt chips. Sadly I was driving off as I opened them up, or I would have taken them back. I suppose the only good thing I can say is that the serving was very generous. Then again, you could give me as many burnt chips as you want, I’m not going to be happy about it.
Bad service, bad food. What a let down…
