Good old fashioned family pizza joint. The crust is a bit focaccia like, spongy rather than crispy. The cheese is generous. The toppings tend to be well done — cheese and other bits — creating another chewy layer.

This is the most authentic pizza, I ever ate in anywhere in Sydney, being a cabbie driving from inner west to northern beaches and then eastern suburb to the west. I tried many places but but no one come even close to Mimmo in brook vale for its culinary taste with authentic crust and ingredients. Mimmo is really hard working man working 15 hrs a day for the last 40 odd years making pizza. So he knows quite well that he been making and serving. Soft drinks like can of Coke $ 3 or 600ml bottle $ 5, feel bit pricy though. Well again its northern beaches not western Suburbs. So we all understand. Long live Mimmo’s pizza …

Always perfect pizzas, service is always nice and quick, and it’s great for anyone in the local area! Really authentic and well priced. I 100% recommend the Mimmo’s Special — Bacon and eggs on pizza? YESPLEASE!

Love this place. Great value for money and the food is always perfect and generous. It doesn’t look like a trendy restaurant because it isn’t. And sometimes that’s exactly what you want in an Italian restaurant. I’ll be coming back regularly.
