What a relief knowing a place like Raw exists on Oxford Street that makes a day of meetings kind on one’s stomach and wellbeing by offering a menu of wellness-enducing smoothies, Acai Bowls and shady undercover seating to soak up some Vitamin D while you’re at it. It’s more of a kiosk than café so be prepared to order take-away(with the Brisbane River in walking distance I’d suggest it prime opportunity to take advantage of some time by the water). Equally brilliant is their small selection of grocery items like matcha, coconut oil and chocolate. On this visit I opted for a vege wrap with a sundried tomato cashew cream which filled that hungry hole in my stomach without sacrificing health. While this was a dashing visit, I’ll be back for smoothies and green juices until my #smugtrolley overflows.

Very happy to have stopped by Raw Juicery in Bulimba. This small but cute café, is the sister of Raw Juicery on Adelaide Sreet & Indooroopilly shopping centre. I decided to try a few things; some mixed raw salads, some of their organic coffee from supreme roasters in Yatala & their ‘summer’ smoothie with banana, strawberry, mango and coconut water($ 7). Everything I tried was beautiful & fresh & the smoothie had so much flavour. Very yummy! They also offer beautiful cold press juices, power shots, snacks & treats such as acai & pink pitaya bowls, wraps, fruit platters, raw treats/desserts by ‘Carrie on raw’ Mt Ommaney. Looking forward to coming back to try some of their breakfast options
