Sharing a house with 5 guys and being the only one with a car for a while, I ended up doing a lot of Sunday morning trips to Buranda so that they could pick up their hangover kebabs. I must admit that on more than one occasion I did join them in their feast.
Origin Kebab in the Buranda Centro Shopping Centre is also know as Afiyet Kebab and the Buranda Kebab Café. I am pretty sure they are all the same place as they have the same address and telephone listing but if not then I am talking about the one in the Buranda Centro Centre, directly across from Woolworths.
Now the kebabs here are pretty standard. They are cheap yet filling and certainly hit the spot on a lazy Sunday morning. Sometimes the staff are happy and cheerful, sometime they glare at you, it really is a matter of luck as to the level of service you get. On a whole, this kebab shop is pretty average. Their is nothing really good nor bad about the place. If you are a local then it is convenient and it does really do the trick to subdue the Sunday hangover.
