Big selection especially the desert, you can taste the rum in ther raisin ice cream. The Asian corner has small yum Cha and there is oysters and prawns.

This restaurant is located at Crown Perth, right in the lobby of one of the priciest hotels in the city. So, if you’re looking for a buffet on a budget, this is not for you. If you’re willing to splurge, this restaurant is a great choice! When I eat here, it’s at dinner — mostly because I love eating out in the evening. Lots of variety, suitable for every palate. I tend to be picky in addition to a food allergy or two, which makes buffets a challenge. But if I had to ask what was in something, the staff were happy to help. Do not skip the dessert buffet. It’s the best part. I mean, come on — a chocolate fountain!

I’ve been to the Atrium twice before and experienced a good selection of food at a high standard. The food tonight was presented well however none of the food was hot. I sampled a variety of different cuisines at different times thinking freshly cooked hot food would come out during our sitting. The last dish I tried was from the Asian section and the chef had prepared stir fried vegetables and noodles. This was also cold! I then decided to tell the manager given that even a fresh serve of food was still cold. Whilst waiting to see what the manager thought our group ordered coffees. The coffees were also cold. The manager came back to me 20 minutes later and agreed with my comments that the food wasn’t hot enough. Unfortunately I also had to say that the coffees were also cold. The manager said«it’s unfortunate you’ve had a bad experience but this is one of the risks of buffet food in that you can’t guarantee the temperature»! I said I wasn’t happy to pay $ 75 per person for cold food and coffee however still had to pay, even though he said he agreed with me. A very disappointing experience for us all with a hefty price tag. I was most upset and won’t be going back at all!!!

Great for all you can eat and great selection of food, everything seems to be pretty fresh and it’s an awesome setup. My only complaint is the service is not the best. We ordered drinks(2 jugs of coke, 3 beers and 3 cocktails) as soon as we sat down but they didn’t arrive, then half way through dinner we asked if our drinks were coming they apologised and told us the drinks would arrive soon. As we finished dinner we were quite thirsty and still did not receive our drinks so we asked again and were told the drinks were arriving soon! When we finally finished desert and were about to leave the drinks finally arrived with no apologies. By then we told them to keep the drinks as we were full and drank plenty of water. The restaurant was not busy so I cannot understand what went wrong! Apart from that the food was good.

Amazing selection. Everyone can find something they want. The lunch price is reasonable for the choices u get. Buffet style dessert — can’t go wrong with that!

Not my cup of tea for a nice dinner. Saturday night– it’s busy and crowded and that didn’t phase me. The décor is lovely and really quite stylish. The staff were attentive and cleared away finished plates quite quickly. But that’s where the positives stop. For a buffet dinner being told that we had to be finished in a certain amount of time really didn’t go down do well with me. Especially whilst celebrating a special occasion. God forbid some reasonable conversation and good times when you have to scoff all courses in 1.5hrs! Food was very average. I love the seafood section– mainly because most of it was fresh and raw so it didn’t need cooking. Most the other dishes whether Asian inspired or meat cuisines of the world really lacked proper cooking technique and most was overcooked. Dessert was a disaster with a HUGE line because it was time for service to end so everyone had to wait in line and waste 10 – 15 minutes of their lives for very average dessert while the selection was plentiful. I’ve been here a few times– each time hoping that Atrium would redeem itself. Sadly no, won’t be coming back here in a rush unfortunately!

Been there 3 times for buffet dinner. Each time I had a different experience. The best was when there was fresh salmon from the morning with a chef slicing it fresh to serve. I love the oysters and the prawns. Sushi selection is not the best. The roast duck with the peking wrap is my favourite too. Other than that, the selections are ok, desserts are ok too. The interior is nice, a nice atmosphere, you could hear live music from the foyer area. The service was not the best, the waitresses don’t refill water for you.

Had two meals here, breakfast and the lunch buffet. Such high hopes, such great presentation. Venue, lovely, nice open feeling, staff, generally friendly, selection, looks wide, ok lets go. Ahhh, the let down. Such a disappointment. For breakfast, the food was pretty standard, but actually more than a bit sub standard. Chewy bacon, breakfast sausages that were tasteless, breakfast steaks — ah the good stuff! but no, tough as a boot. Poached eggs were made to order and hard boiled, sigh. Fruit selection good, but standard, and with strawberries that might as well have been plastic for all the taste. Still, lots of yoghurts, cereals, continental stuff and of course congee, Indian curries, and a variety of other exotics. For the price, a real let down. So, lunch. You would think we learnt, but had to eat in a hurry so the buffet has to be easy, right? To be fair, the selection was wide– wait, aren’t they the same curries that were there for breakfast ??? eeeek… Oysters, good, prawns, not so much but OK. Roast beef and pork — I mean, safe choices, right? Babowwww, wrong. Both meats looked great. Pork, crackling good… meat? dry as bro. Seriously, couldn’t eat it, and I love pork. And the beef? Still picking it outta my teeth weeks later, so tough I could have put a strap on it and wore it as a thong(on my foot!) I acknowledge my experience was one day only, and we didn’t spend a lot of time eating a lot of food, other folks may have a different experience, but hey that is what reviews are for, right? For my money, if you want a long pig out, probably good value, otherwise, walk on by.

Darn though. I didn’t eat enough. Paused too long after my entrée and ate a pretzel. I vowed not to do that, eat bread that is. But I did. Got full and could not eat my $ 75.00 worth. Bum. Oh well. So to my review. The venue is lovely and clean and a bit swanky. I loved the overall ultra modern feel of the restaurant. Food Presentation was beautiful. Everything was impeccably fresh. So much to choose from. So many different styles of food. Totally blows Miss Maud’s out if the water. Sorry if your a fan. Yummiest ice cream I’ve ever had! Lots of Gluten free choices, but we did have to chase up staff that new what was what, as it wasn’t labelled GF — that might have been helpful. Anyway, loved the experience. Thought it was a little weird that coffee and tea was extra and not included. Oh well, it was a lovely experience. Um, P. S. take care if you are walking past lots of bar patrons on the way to your car — just a tiny bit dodgy xx Stay safe xx

So I can’t comment on the price as I went here for a birthday which was paid for. What I can say though is that it was neatly presented and the food was delicious. They had roast duck, in a all you can eat. That’s a win for me! You can get cocktails, and other drinks… I didn’t try any because I had to drive. Easiest way to describe it was a higher quality Sizzlers but(when I went) with Asian food. Oh yeah the desserts were very rich too. Most of us were stuffed by then.

It’s nice to find an all you can eat with better quality food than Sizzlers! Came here for mine and my partners anniversary dinner. This probably wasn’t the best choice of venue as we ended up stuffing ourselves silly leading into a food coma, not exactly the most ‘romantic’ night we planned. There was so much to choose from, ended up having to go back and forward many a time to try everything. Felt like a kid in a candy store: D I particularly liked how there was foods from all different cultures such as Mediterranean, Indian, Asian, Japanese etc. My favorite was the desert ‘cube’ as I call it. Nearing the end of the night, everyone wanted desert so the lines were huge and I didn’t know how to approach the square line leading around the desert section. With a bit of awkward small talk it was achieved and the line did move quite quickly. The chocolate mouse was defiantly my favorite! My only complaint was the dinner times, either from 5.30pm — 7.30pm or 8pm — 10pm which sort of makes it neither here nor there. The eating periods aren’t for very long so you sort of feel rushed. As the prices are quite high and you feel like a pig afterwards, I probably wouldn’t go back too soon. But defiantly worth a try!

It’s like an RSL in there. Horrendous. Spent $ 36 on two undrinkable cocktails that were like big-gulp slushies. I left feeling disgusted. Don’t go. Just don’t.

Hopes were high after peering down into the Atrium from our room, so we decided to head down for breakfast. The $ 172 price tag for two adults and a 5 and 8 year old almost knocked me for six, then after being asked if we were hotel guests the price dropped a little. The walk to our table provided an expansive choice for breakfast with got my taste buds dancing. My first plate was nothing short of a true dissapointment, with the salmon being very dry, steamed bacon, under seasoned mushrooms, and a gluggy fried egg, all components were enidible in a restaurant sense and were all fed to the garbage. The second plate consisted of vegetable spring roll, somosa, dim sum, sushi roll, and sliced trout, the cooked selections were Luke warm at best and were sparse in fillings, the trout had a smashing of grey meat which threw the trout out the window and the sushi rolls were the only acceptable food on the plate. We snagged a plate of Indian selections with a Big serving of rogan josh expecting a lift to the morning, once again another uppercut to the jaw, with a tough protein and weak sauce for it to bathe in. By this stage had all but quit on this disaster breakfast but I thought I would try some of the champagne ham to quell my hunger. This was cooked perfectly so it melted in your mouth with a fantastic crunchy skin, sadly this was the only piece of food that would make the grade, as everything else should not have been served up. I did think the large piece of honey combe was a nice touch and proved a focal point for the tin lids. The selection was great, but I could have had a feast at Sayers with drinks for the same money(we know how good Sayers brekky is). I would highly suggest saving your time and pennies for a dedicated a la carte breakfast and give Atrium a wide berth Food 1.5÷10 service 6⁄10 décor 7.5÷10

Atrium has been around for what feels like forever. It has recently had a facelift, with new décor, including chef stations where you can watch the food being prepared. I’m not a big fan of buffets, but this place is one of the better ones in Perth. It is a light and airy room with high ceilings, but they always seat everyone in the same area. So, half the restaurant is empty and you have to navigate through crowded tables to get to the food, which is frustrating. There is a big variety of different foods to cover all tastes. The food is decent, nothing particularly special. Although I am a fan of the all you can eat cold rock style ice cream station. The service can be hit and miss, with some of the wait staff with big attitude problems.

It’s absolutely a lift in standard from it’s earlier days, but at the end of the say it’s still a buffet. As far as this style of dining goes however; this is pretty good. Things I enjoyed: * The novelty factor; who doesn’t get excited at the opportunity to pile your plate with 10 different kinds of foods, even if it’s «just to try». * The ambience; sky high ceiling, swish furnishings and the buzz of greedy people moving around the buffet tables. * The dessert buffet — it’s colourful and it’s extensive. The highlight is the cold rock; a massive bar of ice cream with candy and nuts throughout. * Prawns * Peking duck Things to miss: * The filets of cooked fish; dry and unpalatable. * Sushi — uninteresting and not all that fresh * Dim Sum — ditto above Overall the food is average but good by buffet standards. Go for the experience.
