Lundgren Chain Reserve

When I used to wander down the road as a kid to play here, I would call it «Clock Park». It will astound you to discover that this is because the playground has a clock in it!
Fast forward 10 years, and the playground still has a clock in it. It’s a good clock, one that you can move the hands yourself. Pretty decent playground by all accounts, if a little faded and worn. I don’t think it’s been updated much in the last 10 years (although there was a fair bit of construction happening a little while ago). The park itself is great for a picnic or for a dog walk that’s a bit different to several times round the oval and back home again. The «chain» part of the name refers to the way the park chains over several streets. Quite pretty.
