Calder Park Raceway

Yikes!
This place is in desperate need of an upgrade. There are raggedy old seats, half of which are broken and very much un-​sittable. The steps to get to the stands are so large that they require flexing your hamstrings and a sense of balance just to get up some of them. Just be careful getting up there. Safety much? The least they could do is paint the concrete barriers so that they are matching and have some sort of consistency.
With that being said, I guess it doesn’t matter what state the venue is in if you are an avid car lover. Then the state of the location and nothing else would matter but the vehicles that you are here to see.
But for the rest of us, that aren’t car-​aficionados, can you just make the place a little more pleasant and a little less of an eye sore? Also, you could barely hear the commentator speaking and the music was too random for my liking and made me feel like I was at Monster Jam.
P. S. They do have the hot dog and burger basics. But follow my advice, just bring some outside takeaway food.
