History

Established in 2004.

Perth Scuba is Western Australia’s largest Dive Shop and PADI Career Development Centre. With over 650 metres of retail floor space, 2 large modern air conditioned classrooms, Presentation Theatre (it’s more like a movie theatre), Buddy Lounge, Scuba Museum and dedicated Technical diving, Underwater Photography and Videography store, Perth Scuba is your one stop shop when it comes to Scuba Diving training & equipment in Perth. Perth Scuba offers training from the world’s number one diver training agencies in both Recreational and Technical Diving with the PADI and TDI training systems. Business Owner

Hi my name is Lee Johnson. I am a co — owner of Perth Scuba.

I started diving back in 1996 when the sport store I managed, changed direction. Diving soon became my passion and took over my life.

I became a Dive Master after 12 months working in the store. I worked 7 days a week for 3 years both in the store during the day and as a Dive Master at night and on weekends. This all ended when the dive store I managed was sold and I went to work for another dive store in Perth.

I worked there for nearly 7 years and met a million awesome new friends there. Unfortunately there was no opportunity to move ahead in that business so, with the huge help and support of Robert, Perth Scuba was born!

I have been privileged with my diving in that I have dived in some of the most awesome places in the world, as well as some great local diving including Coral Bay, Abrolhos Islands and of course our very own Rottnest Island.
