The Batter Fish And Chips Shop

I have now tried all of the local chippies
and i can safely say this one is my favorite
the shop is clean and new, the lady behind the counter is always smiling
good food, great taste and price is right

I had decided upon fish and chips for dinner: a quick no-​fuss meal. So the new local fish and chip shop sounded just the spot.
My better half and I took a short brisk stroll, much to our convenience and ordered 2 servings of the Hawaiian pack which was a meer $ 12 each plus a shark which was only $ 9. Pretty standard prices for a fish and chip shop I’d say. The wait was approx 10 mins.
This was our first time here, so I had promised not to be too harsh with my judgement.
Starting with the standard fish. It tasted ok and the texture was more on the chewy side. Much preferred the Shark.
The chips seemed a little undercooked for my liking but there were generous sprinkles of chicken salt which made it easier for me to chow down.
I must admit, I found it quite oily but I guess that’s just the way Fish and Chips is supposed to be.
This place was busy, the whole shop front started to fill up, which was a good sign.
They open 7 days a week from 4.30pm to 8.30pm.
Great selection of fried up goodies.
Will try again in future if I’m having another lazy day and in need of greasy foods.
