Simple and a humble pie. Beefy’s pie is probably the best commercial over the counter pie I had. Earlier I had one on the Northside of Brisbane.
Although the taste was good however the the pie presentation wasn’t as good compared to the one I had earlier. Perhaps the preparation was different, but don’t know. The cover of the pie was splitting away from the body indicating it was gassing out too fast while baking.
The meat inside the pie has mixture of cuts with soft tender bits and full of the pie flavour.
The lunch special is good value.

My fav is the steak, cheese and bacon but regardless which favour you choose Beefys pies always taste great and are very good quality. Thick pastry supports the pie as you eat it, tasty graveyard with large chunks of meat inside. Doesn’t matter which of the Beefys store you visit it’s always a quality pie!
