GLEEKA provide Sweets to café’s, delicatessen and supermarkets and in January 2013 we will open our Bakery Outlet, delivering Quality Greek Sweets that entertain the senses and bring a little indulgence to the taste buds.

We pride ourselves on the freshest quality Sweets, and ensure that the final product tantalizes the palate.

GLEEKA Bakery specialise in Greek Sweets, Fusion Greek Sweeks, Cheesecakes, Greek Biscuits, Slices, Cakes, MiniCakes, We also have a Gluten Free range and finally our extremely popular Chocolate Truffles.

History

Established in 2010.

GLEEKA Bakery was started out with the desire to bring into our home some of the flavours and aromas that reminded us of our childhood living in a Greek house. We wanted our children to experience the same excitement we did as children, coming home to some of the beautiful aromas and flavones of our parents cooking.

Through word of mouth and taste of mouth, the word got out there that we were making fresh Greek Sweets and Greek Desserts.

Since opening we have outgrown our little kitchen with 1 oven and a stove and now need a team of bakers and staff dedicated to making and delivering quality Fresh Greek Sweets & Greek Desserts.

In 2013 we opened the GLEEKA Bakery retail shop selling directly to the public. You can now come in, relax, enjoy a freshly brewed Greek Coffee and enjoy the sweets; and if your heart desires take home a box of treats.

The friendly team at GLEEKA Bakery are always ready to help you in anyway they can.

Definition: GLEEKA (glee-​ka) means «Sweets» in Greek.

Business Owner

Eleni started this business in 2010 with one idea in mind, to bring some of the excitement and aromas of home cooking to her family.

Since then GLEEKA Bakery has grown through word of mouth and taste of mouth to make Greek sweets and Greek dessert for deli’s café’s and IGA’s around Brisbane.

Eleni is passionate about quality and freshness. Eleni is now taking her baking to another level and started to look at fusion Greek Sweets and Greek Desserts as a way of expanding the her range of delicious Greek sweets and Greek desserts for a younger generation.

Eleni takes pride in her work and ensures that her team has that sample passion for freshness and quality.
