I’m quite fussy with food quality(being from Melbourne) I found this place too be really good. My only complaint is that I was accustomed to getting salsa and guacomale as standard on my burrito. Because it was absent, it made the meat tend to be slightly dry. So be aware of this and I’m sure it will satisfy.

I’m always whinging that there aren’t enough Mexican places in Australia so I have to salute Montezumas, which has been waving the flag for at least 2 or 3 decades. I can’t go past the taquitos, those crunchy, yummy little treats, but the chorizo enchilladas are really good too. It’s easy to be blasé about Montezumas these days, because like an old shoe, it feels like it’s always been around and yes, we often pass by without a backward glance to try something new and different, but it’s great to know that when we need a Mexican fix without driving too far or hauling out the pots in the kitchen, it’s still there for us.

Montezumas — the best place to fix my nachos craving. Sure, it might not be the most healthy but I strongly believe everything in moderation is fine. I love the slightly tacky but intriguing interior décor and the friendly staff. I like a minimal amount of spice, but there is certainly a lot of spicy options on the menu if you desire. The nachos are to die for. Bring on the sour cream and cheese! I’d recommend going with a group, particularly family. There is a great family friendly atmosphere and the kids menu has double the options you get at most places. The full menu is packed full of enchiladas and burritos plus heaps of combinations, sides and starters. I will defiantly be going back.
