My family and I have been going to Vincenzos for years and decided that we would celebrate Mother’s Day there. We made a reservation for 6:30 on the Sunday and turned up at about 6:35. I was about to walk into the restaurant when my mum came out crying. She had been told that our table had been given away because we were late. They insisted we had booked for 6, despite the fact we had prior arrangements that wouldn’t have even allowed us to arrive before 6:30. I was with my mum when she made the booking and I am appalled by the fact that the only consolation my mum got was, «business is business», after our table had been given away. They did not offer to try and fit us in anywhere else or wait to see if another table became available. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning, and will be advising our friends who were planning to dine here to eat out of the dumpster instead, as they’re more likely to find decent customer service in there. Thankyou Vincenzos for ruining my family’s night.

If you like a quaint local Italian pizza pasta place this one is great. BYO too. I haven’t had this in awhile but when my mouth craves that salty flavoursome Feed I go for a mafioso pizza, add mushroom and anchovies. Basically a salty explosion of taste goes well with a nice easy to drink red from the bottle-O across the road. Still love it. Nothing fancy just easy local neighbourhood Italian.

I love my Italian food so I frequent Vincenzo’s quite often and as a bonus, it’s not too far from me. The first time I went, I was amazed at range of food they had on the menu! Spaghetti Marinara to Tortellini Alla Panna to Garlic Prawns. The delectable pastas are always something to look forward to. But if you order the Spaghetti Bolognese, and I know this by experience, be careful when sucking the spaghetti up through pursed lips. When I did it, I sucked the spaghetti a little too fast and got pasta whipped right in the face! They also serve a multitude of pizzas to eat in the restaurant or to take away. If you order a family sized pizza, bring your appetite. If you are taking that special someone out for a quiet meal or if it is a family night, I would definitely recommend going to Vincenzo’s.

I love Vincenzo’s soo much and I really miss it. When you live with your parents and they don’t mind about spending a few extra dollars for the gourmet stuff. As a kid I was obsessed with the bacon and egg pizza which some people aren’t even aware exists. The Mediterranean pizza is really delicious. The pizza’s are $ 15 and there is a $ 5 delivery fee but they are probably some of the nicest pizzas I have ever had. The restaurant itself serves up some mean pastas which are rich authentic tasting and delicious. The Carbonara is so delicious you can’t help but polish of the giant portion size. Meal prices are very reasonable ranging from $ 12.50– $ 21.50 I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
