We came here on a Groupon that the wife bought & she was eager to come here. I am not much of a Greek food eater, however you only live once. Started off with the owner of the restaurant introducing herself. She was very friendly & explained the history and staffing of the restaurant. She then went on to explain the menu & the history of some of the foods. She highlighted that the food can take a little bit to come out, however freshness of the ingredients was the key in her speech. The first course came out within about 5 minutes or so. Breads & dips. They weren’t too bad, but not being a fan of pickled and food with vinegar in it, I was not one to jump for joy. The other half however enjoyed it, and to this point, probably would have given this place 4 ½ out of 5. But then the stars start to fall. The next course took about 20 minutes to come out then the next just under an hour. By this time, I am getting frustrated and ready to kill the next animal that walks past me so I can devour it like a starving cave man. Unfortunately I am still here at the restaurant waiting for another course two hours since we got here. I believe that we have one dessert course left, but I am still hungry. Only been offered the one round of drinks at the start of the night and have been drinking tap water ever since. The wait staff try to take our plates half way through eating a meal & have to stop them taking it. Now our empty plates have been sitting in front of me for a good 15 minutes plus without being taken away. I still wouldn’t mind another drink but maybe I will get better service at 7⁄11. It seems the wait staff are too busy talking to other guests & putting away menus for the 50th time now. The kitchen seems to be cooking in batches, so some peoples meals are just so slow coming out, whereas others haven’t even finished one course without another being jammed in front of them. For the Greek food lover, I think that you would probably like it, but watch out for the slow action with anything. This place started off well, but only went on a fast decline. By the way, the table just got cleaned and wiped down. Our water bottle and glasses were empty — he actually picked them up, wiped under them, then put them back down. Who do I have to sleep with here to get a DRINK??? Good luck you don’t starve between courses.
