This florist in the front of Lygon Court is nothing fancy, but they do good basic bunches for reasonable prices. For five to six dollars you can get a bunch of basic seasonal blooms(think daffodils, carnations or gladiolas), which I use to brighten up my lounge room. The bouquets aren’t really to my taste — they are fairly bog-standard, featuring bright ribbons and boxes. The reason I buy from Zek’s regularly is partially convenience(I walk past on my way in and out of the supermarket), but it’s also because of the lady who works here. She always gives me a smile and a hello, even if it’s 7am and she’s in the middle of unloading buckets of flowers in the pouring rain. Her good manners and cheery disposition deserve to be supported!
