We specialize in teaching Beginner Adult Hip Hop dance classes by real hip hop instructors that are passionate about teaching. We provide a friendly learning environment for the Absolute Beginner adult that has never danced before and may feel intimidated.
Short 6 – 8 week courses mean that students commit and work towards a goal together. Casual drop ins okay too.
Great for updating your dance floor grooves for social occasions or clubbing.
History
Established in 2007.
Yolanda Thomas was the longest running hip Hop Teacher at the largest adult dance school in Australia — The Sydney Dance Company studios. She grew up in Castle Hill and wanted to start courses out there to offer another option for the people out west that wasn’t as far to travel as the city.
Now based in Los Angeles she coaches privately in dance and stage performance. Yolanda still manages the Castle Hill Courses and is the first point of contact for all inquiries and students can email any questions or concerns to her day or night.
Using her contacts worldwide to hire exciting guest teachers and to also teach herself a few times a year with workshops and all day hip hop bootcamps.

Longest running Hip Hop teacher for Sydney Dance Company’s casual classes, specializes in teaching and building confidence in beginner dancers. Her motto is So you think you Can’t dance? Bet I can teach you.
Her YouTube dance videos under page /yolandathomas have a combined total of almost 2million views.
She filmed hip hop Smart Tips in LA with Geffner Productions who seek out experts in their field for their videos.
Her choreography has been seen on various Music videos on Video Hits, Channel V, Rage, MTV and Music Max.
Recently choreographed Google for their 2013 Sydney Mardi Gra float.
In 2011 she won Choreographer of the Year (junior div) for Groove. One of the biggest hip hop competitions in Australia.
Appeared in MTV’s Full Tank as herself to choreo Cleo Bachelor’s of the Year.
National tours include: dancer/rapper for Coca Cola’s media launches and joining New York band Reel 2 Real as a dancer/member to promote their hit ‘I like to move it, move it’.
