If you have to buy a present for a young male who has an interest in skateboarding, bands or anything that young guys love, Moonpies and Misfits is for you.
I was told I could buy ‘just the thing’ for my son and I went in. Rather trepidatious as the front window is rather off-​putting for someone of my advanced years.
It is like an aladdins cave decorated with t-​shirts covered in skulls, stacks of skatebards, gloves and baseball caps. I’m, sure there’s more but I was overwhelmed by all the boy stuff that I walked out very quickly.
They have signs on the front door about performances of local bands and such like. For me it was a nightmare but for an 18 year old it would have been heaven.
