I’ve probably passed by Red Shallots over a dozen times but because it is not really in a strategic spot, I never really knew this great restaurant existed. It was only recently when a friend of mine recommended we go to Red Shallots for dinner that I actually realised the existence of this amazing little restaurant with such a big heart.
The modern style restaurant is dressed with minimal fuss (no cliché elephants or other Thai artefacts sight) and actually doesn’t really give the impression of its cuisine. But as soon as you order your food, the sweet smells that waft from the kitchen will entice you and prepare you for the gastronomy that will soon present itself. For an unassu8ming Thai restaurant, the flavours are amazing here. Everything we’ve ordered so far has been great and the servings are just right.
The staff are also courteous and efficient and are able to offer recommendations when you can’t make up your mind. All in all, a great night out!
