overpriced oily dumplings served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery = environmental crime.

Dumpling with red food dye or preservative is not on. You have enough turnover not to do that. Give dumpling discounted on the end of day. I certainly will not eat them anymore Typical chinese thou

I came to this place specifically because of Irene C.‘s glowing review, and I do have to say I’m quite impressed. Customer Service: Quick, efficient, and polite. Don’t expect massive friendliness, but in a food court setting this isn’t really an issue. Food: Some of the dishes were good and other dishes need a bit of a work, but overall I had a great meal. I’ll rate every dish separately: Har Gao: Prawn dumplings. I’m a huge fan of Har Gao and this place does them very well. I’ve found a lot of problem with Har Gao usually is that if somewhere doesn’t do them properly, they come out really dry and tasteless. With Dumplings Plus, however, they were delicious! The prawn was very juicy and tasty. Pan-Fried Dumplings: The BEST. If you come here, I will definitely recommend them. Some of the best pan-fried dumplings I’ve ever had, if I’m going to be honest~ Delicious and juicy meat, perfectly fried, was great. Chinese Noodles w/Minced Meat and Sauce: I’ve had this dish before and I really enjoy it. Dumplings Plus makes it alright, but it’s not special enough to be a major recommendation. Xiao Long Bao: A huge disappointment. Xiao Long Bao are usually supposed to have delicious juice in the middle, but these ones were rather dry and tasteless. Not very appetising. — Get the pan-fried dumpings — guaranteed to be amazing. If you haven’t had Har Gao before, I suggest you try it. Overall, this place can be a hit or miss with some of the dishes, but if you pick the right ones you’ll be one happy camper.

As its name suggests, this place is all about the dumplings, and it pumps them out fast. I was a little disappointed in the range available here– there are no straight vegetarian dumplings and most of the dumplings have pork in them, which I don’t eat. The other thing to be mindful of is that the dumplings are already made and are served fast-food style. If you want to sit down and enjoy fresh, hot dumplings you have to ask them to make them specifically for you. If you are craving dumplings and don’t mind sacrificing a bit of flavour this place is a good option.

Being from an Asian background, I would like to say I am a self-proclaimed dumpling connoisseur. I love them, everywhere I go-I order dumplings and judge them according to all the other dumplings I’ve ever had before. The dumplings in the Chadstone food court, are actually one of the best dumplings I’ve ever had! The last place you’d expect these little beauties would be in a shopping center food court, but alas here they are! The dumplings are seriously good, they’re meaty and tangy and soft. My family and I actually come to Chadstone just to have dinner here. I’m most definitely not the only person who knows about these dumplings either, pretty much everyone familiar with the area has tried and loved these dumplings. The shop is constantly frying up new batch-fulls to keep up with the customer demands. If you haven’t had these before, do yourself a favor and go eat them.
