Alice’s Tea Cafe

Came here for a high tea on Sunday with a girlfriend as we bought a voucher on groupon.
The decoration of the place was cute.
We sat down and waited for our coffee and tea a bit.
Then the high tea arrived — I must say I was a bit disappointed.
We had couple sandwiches, couple scones with cream and jam (from a packet), 2 macaroons, couple strawberries and small piece of some cake and cronut.
The sandwiches were OK — maybe because I was hungry. The scones were nothing special — I had better — The cronut was very dry and hard like cardboard. We couldn’t eat that. Then we share the piece of cake and was very sweet. Couldn’t eat that either.
The high tea needs more savoury snacks. Everything was too sweet. The cakes were not high standard at all. I had better.
I wont be back.
