On Chevron Island, this set of holiday apartments is just a short walk from Surfer’s Paradise. With decent waves, this beach is popular with tourist surfers as well as Aussies who come here for Winter sun. Warner Brothers Movie World, DreamWorks Dream World, Sea World, and The Australian Outback Spectacular are also nearby popular attractions.
Cheveron Palms Holiday Apartments are a complete home from home with all the facilities that you need. You could turn up in the clothes you were wearing and everything would be fine, such is the extent of the what is provided.
As well as comfy beds, a full kitchen and utensils, sofas, and a dining table and chairs there’s a laundry area in the bathroom along with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. Smoking is restricted to your own balcony. Wifi is available at a reasonable cost.
When we arrived on the first night after unpacking we got into the pool. For many Queenslanders in their Winter, it would be a bit extreme going for an outdoor swim at 4pm, an hour before dark. For us the water in the heated pool was warm. Not ‘ok’, not tepid, but actually warm! So we swam and admired the skyline, while surrounded by palm trees.
The staff here are friendly and helpful and offer lots of information, to compliment the notice boards, which list nearby attractions, bars and clubs, including an up-​to-​date list of any rides which are out of action at the theme parks.
