Christies Beach Tourist Park

Mum and I stayed here two weeks ago in their cabin and it was fantastic! The cabin is spacious and the service was friendly. We liked it here so much that we booked a 3^rd night which we got $ 10 off for. The tourist park is close to the beach (less than a 1 minutes walk) and it’s just a 5 minute walk from the main street of Christies Beach which is very handy for getting groceries without travelling a far distance. There’s shaded seating area and the grass is green. The appearance of the tourist park is very clean and welcoming. I love seeing the people’s caravan houses that live there because their houses are loaded with cute plants and gnomes.
I will definitely be back because it’s so great to just relax and have a holiday.

These guys are horrible scam artists! In August I booked a cabin for 2 nights to attend a wedding in January, I only needed the cabin for a night, but was informed it is a minimum 2 night booking (which is supported by their website), the price was higher than listed on their website, but I paid it as I wanted to guarantee my accommodation. All was fine until my sister emailed them last night to enquire about also booking a cabin where she requested to book one next to mine, providing my name, and included a note that we were attending my mothers wedding. She was informed that it was a 3 day minimum, and I received an email (not even a phone call, an easily missed email!) that they now insisted I book for 3 nights instead of two (I suspect the word «Wedding» had dollar signs in their eyes), and they had booked me in for the 3^rd night (at my expense), and pretended they were doing me a favour. I had entered a contract with them for 2 nights, they had told me over the phone that it was 2 nights, their website says it is 2 nights, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to call me! I called them and they told me that «It wasn’t fair» that my sister had to book 3 nights, and how do you think she would feel if I only had to book 2 (like their ripping her off was my fault!), and that they were not going to honour the original booking unless I booked for 3 nights. Sandi, the owner, was incredibly unhelpful and rude. I had to cancel my booking, and now have to rush to find accommodation in the area, which was readily available 3 months ago when I booked, but is not anymore. If you book with these guys, they demand a 50% upfront, but their word is worth nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Stayed here one night and had a good experience overall!
