I debated between 4 – 5 stars, it’s somewhere in between. The mellow indoor/outdoor vibe is perfect for a warm morning or mid day meal, the coffees are prepared with care, and they have some great breakfast dishes. Breakfast burrito’s are hard to come by around town, the Dancing Goat does a pretty good one. All this is generally served up by owners who put heart and soul into their lite business. I’m a fan.

Love this place! Great local Swanbourne business, really friendly staff and great barista working the coffee station. Also a great outdoor balcony sit on and soak up some morning sunlight as you get your daily caffeine hit!

I found myself near Swanbourne very early this morning so it was the perfect excuse to go and try the Dancing Goat!(just because of the quirky name… and the positive reviews). My boyfriend and I both ordered the breakfast burrito(which is now $ 14), one with mushrooms and one with bacon, as well as coffees. It was only 6:45 but the place was already busy with regulars and early-morning cyclists. Our order arrived quickly. The coffees were great and they served me a real macchiato(ie an expresso«stained» with a bit of milk, not coffee with milk). The mushroom breakfast burrito was very«mushroomy» and the earthiness of the mushroom almost overpowered the taste of the other ingredients. The bacon burrito seemed more balanced in flavours, with the relish, egg, cheese and spinach all making an apparition on the taste buds. Overall, a lovely place for a good breakfast!

Good coffee is hard to come by, and when you find a good spot it becomes your go-to place. I’m a big coffee person, so I was happy to find a good, flavorful and strong cup of coffee. No, that’s an understatement… this coffee is damn good and very satisfying. The only problem is, that The Dancing Goat is only open Monday — Friday, so this is a good place to stop by if you have a little bit of time before heading into work. While all I had was the coffee, a lot of people were ordering the breakfast burritos. The burritos cost $ 10, and for that price they looked a little small. Though they must be delicious because even on a Tuesday, they were everyones choice for breakfast. The staff was friendly with lots of warm smiles. Coming in to The Dancing Goat is a great way to fight off a rat race kind of morning. The coffee is good enough to make me get off an extra stop on the train just to get a cup. If the burritos are anything like the quality of the coffee, it’s worth the trip. I wish they were open on the weekends so I could get a good cup of joe when I’m having a slow Sunday morning.

I love discovering new places, especially when they are as good as this one. The coffee is good(they use Fiore beans so they can’t go wrong) and the atmosphere is simply lovely. They do a very popular breakfast burrito and some very appetising savoury muffins. If you are in the Cott area and looking for breakfast, I urge you away from the pricey strips and slip in here instead.

Curiously named, The Dancing Goat, is a café that makes the best breakfast burrito around town. Situated not far from Cottesloe beach, this teensy-weensy café epitomizes coastal-cool. Clearly influenced by its nearby surfy setting, the Dancing Goat has an unfussy, laidback vibe. Where The Dancing Goat doesn’t take cue from its surroundings however, is in its prices. A breakfast burrito will set you back just $ 11 — a reasonable fee for this up market area. Fronted by long time friends Annie, and who is widely know as ‘Hot Rob’, The Dancing Goat looks after its regulars first and foremost, with amazing barista coffee. They offer a small yet satisfying menu of familiar things like bagels, wraps, salads and cooling smoothies. The famed burritos are wrapped with your choice of bacon or mushroom, and folded with creamy scrambled eggs, delicious corn salsa and a smear of tomato chutney. The Dancing Goat has a lot of regulars, with most of the customers pausing from their daily routine to make chit-chat with the staff. It’s hard to say though, if repeat business is owed to the excellent coffee, or the fine-looking man behind it.
