I always pop by here whenever I’m hungry after class and am looking for a cheap but good meal to fill my tummy up with I wouldn’t recommend the gyoza though as I thought it tasted quite bland — not worth the extra $ 3 in my opinion. I had the Una Don and I remember having to pick out quite a few bones from the eel. My dining partner had the Karaage Ramen which is decent for what its priced. Overall its a good place to stop by if you want to grab a quick and cheap bite to eat but if you have time and are looking for a quality meal, best to look elsewhere in Clayton.

My favourite local Japanese restraunt! Cheap and so delicious. It is a very small place, so not the best for large groups, but you can still dine in. They also do takeaway and you can call ahead to order so when you get there, it will be ready for you. There bento boxes are so yummy and there are quite a few options, my favourite is the upgrade bento box. Another favourite is there tempura prawns and vegetables, so yummy. If you live in Springvale or close by, this is a must«cheap eat»!

Stopped here Friday night to pick up a quick take away meal but wasn’t wowed. The prices and menu caters more to the lunchtime crowd rather than dinner, but the service was friendly and fairly quick so I gave an extra star. We took home decent miso soup, simple salmon and tuna sushi and a generous serve of edamame beans which were all pretty good. The vegetable tempura was disappointingly soggy, packed too tightly on top of steamed rice. I’d still return for a quick dine in meal if I was desperate for Japanese.
