Had the Pad Thai and the Seafood Green Curry Seafood Green Curry was great. On the border of Medium to hot, a nice amount of prawn, fish and scallops. The Pad Thai Prawn was great as well. A large serving with King Prawns, I challenge you to finish it. The table service was also great as they were friendly and accommodating.

I was a bit torn with this review, as I wanted very much to give it 4 stars but settled on 3. Here’s why… There were only two other customers at peak lunch hour on a Sunday. A couple dining in that had already been served and a man waiting for his take away order. I was warmly greeted upon arrival but had to wait a few minutes before they brought me a menu, so I went to grab my own. They brought over the lunch menu soon thereafter. I was shocked at the prices. $ 16 for one dish and rice is extra? This was their lunch special? This included many popular items from pad thai, fried rice, curries, etc. Being quite hungry I ordered the Panang curry and Roti bread with peanut sauce. The server asked if I wanted the bread first and I said yes. However, it didn’t come until the curry was ready. Finally my meal had arrived and it was really… delicious! I was so pleased at the spice level and flavour of the curry. The Roti was good too. I was however, surprised that the Panang curry was not exactly as described in the menu. I was looking forward to the eggplant which was replaced with green beans and peas, so they should update their menu or at least let you know when ordering. The meal was good but I just think they could work a little more on their serving times and lower their prices for lunch, considering their location. On the plus side, I had enough leftovers for dinner as well. My advice would be, it is not worth the trip here but if you do live nearby, I suggest you go with the takeaway, which another Unilocaler said was cheaper.

Take away is cheaper here but don’t let that stop you from enjoying a sit in. If you visit, try out the papaya salad and their coconut rice has actual coconut shreds mixed in!

Undoubtedly my favourite Thai dining experiance in Melbourne. When the restaurant first opened they would have a tasting night one Monday each month. $ 20.00 for a smorgesboard of about 5 mains. Then it went to $ 25.00 and two sittings, such was the popularity, and then they just didn’t need to do it, such was the rise in popularity of the restaurant. Over the years the prices have escalated, but the quality of food has not changed. This consistency has gained the suburban Thai eatery a regular place in the good food guide. THEMENU; The quality of this food is great, with all the classics very well done. But, some of the Burmese Curries are sensational. The duck curry is a standout, lychees, cherry tomatos, snow peas in a coconut curry sounds a little strange, but give it a go. Lab Nir, a spicy beef salad Mrs Evill loves or the beef and basil curry slow cooked. All I can say is, yes the red curry is delicious, but there is soooo much more to this Thai restaurant. The staff are good, but sometimes take a little time to come. But you know, take your time and enjoy. The decore is not over the top and nothing says take your time more than good quality padded chairs.

Went here with a group of girlfriends for dinner. The drink service was a little slow to start as not all our group arrived at once. However, once we got the waitresses attention the drinks were served very quickly. The restaurant was nice and clean and staff polite. Not overly friendly but nice and helpful. The prices are fairly good — not cheap, not expensive. The quality of the food was really good. Sometimes with Thai you can get quite greasy food, but this place was really fresh. Service was quick and no fuss. Selection of beer was pretty good, they had a few thai beers that were modertely priced. We were the last table to leave the restaurant at the end of the night and staff didn’t ask us to leave once or try and force us out. We would go back for sure!
